Tuesday & Friday Markets
In September 2005 the Alford Town Council became one of the first local town/parish councils in East Lindsey to take over the management and running of its Friday market from the District Council. From small beginnings the market grew, and in April 2006 the Town Council took over the running of the Tuesday market in the town - a much bigger proposition.
Managed locally the Market Traders can soon discuss any problems, issues or ideas and all ideas are welcomed. Stall rents are reasonable and the Town Council is committed to the management of the markets in the town, and welcome enquiries from all trades.
The markets compliment the shops in town and together the shops and markets cater for the vast majority of retail needs.
